Coke and Fashion Go Hand-In-Hand In Hollywood… This Time It’s Okay

Jan 14

We love the eco-fabulous web tv network G Living. In this episode, hostess with the mostess Sarah Backhouse meets up with the husband and wife founders of Re:volve Apparel at their Fred Segal launch party in Hollywood. They discuss ethical fashion, children, and their new relationship with Coke. Cameos by actors Roger Cross (Mad Money) and Amy Smart (The Butterfly Effect). Enjoy Coke.

Re:Volve recently let me know that they will also be hosting a “Giving” Suite next week at the Sundance Film Festival, January 17-27, that will turn the idea of giving celebrities SO much swag on its head and going above and beyond the “eco” suites that have been cropping up recently.

The Giving Suite is an eco-boutique featuring environmentally and socially friendly products with 100% OF NET PROFITS BENEFITTING: Water Keeper Alliance, Earth Pledge, Healthy Child/Healthy World, Our Future Now, the
Environmental Media Association (EMA), and Room to Read.

The 1,500 sq foot space will transform daily from boutique, to lounge, to press area, to club…and back again – hosting filmmakers, celebrities, acoustic performances, parties, and more.
Guests will be able to shop from a screened selection of solidly “green” goods and services including fashion from: RE:VOLVE Apparel Project and Livity, both soon to be carried by Greenloop, English Retreads, and many others.

Sounds like a good time to me!

Thanks for the update. I heard about The Giving Suite through Avita Co-op’s participation with eConscious Market. I love this idea! All I have to say is those A-listers are gonna get some SUPER incredible stuff. Shopping for free-gotta love it!
