Greenloop to launch new, improved website…

Apr 05

While we do love our site as it currently stands, and we thank our customers and supporters for loving it too, we felt the time was right to take it to the next level. On that note, just in time for Earth Day 2006, Greenloop will be launching its new site, complete with a whole new collection of merchandise for spring and several new, exciting brands to choose from too.

In addition to an expanded selection of mens (yes, you heard right, more mens
items ) and womens clothing, the new site will feature more information on fit, sizing and styling features; offer multiple views of each item; multiple color views of each item (where more than one color is available;a new customer rewards program; increased shipping options; and enhanced international shipping capabilities.

The new website will also have a webpage dedicated to each line we carry, so you can
learn more about them, their ethics, their inspiration, their materials, and
more.

Gotta have it now? Go ahead and check out what we have available on the site right now, and ifyou don’t see what you are looking for, or you know of an specific item you want, email us and we will do our very best to take care of you. We do have the spring line-up in stock at our shop in West Linn, OR, so if you are in the neighborhood, drop in!

So please, keep checking in with us at www.thegreenloop.com – we are not permanently stuck in fall/winter mode, just improving upon ourselves to serve you, and the green fashion movement, BETTER. We are shooting for a mid April launch. If you would like to be among the first to be in the know about the launch of the new site, you can sign up to receive notification by email here.

Welcome, since you have a men’s section in your site, can you recommend some birthday gifts for men?

I read that most American’s have sugggested that they would consider purchasing a hybrid for there next vehicle…I’m sure a clothing line would be even easier to sell them on!

Nice blog, nice to see people waking up to the needs of our planet….i know everyone needs to make a living in this world , what we really need is to show people that they dont have to follow fashion trends to have a better image of themselves….this is just a fabrication of the ego, immersed in this consumerism society.

Can’t wait for your new site — any suggestions about where to buy in the UK? I’m living here for a couple of years…anyway, glad to see Blogger give you the attention!

Just a thought for peeps who can’t always afford organic clothing – think about going to a secondhand store. Then, at least the stuff you buy is being recycled through the system…and half the time you find awesome deals on clothes that people have worn once or twice, tops.

I have heard that Martin Ekdahl is planning to start a brand of ecoclothes. The rumour says that it only will be for the swedish market.. but maybe.. someday I will find it in Montevideo also.

Lifestyle apparel that is both socially admirable and socially responsible. This kind of integration is a much needed approach that makes stewarding our planet trendy, not just scientifically necessary. Stewardship becomes a desirable part of your life, not just something you must remember to do.
