It amazes me what is being done with organic and green styles these days. A couple of years ago I would never have even considered it an option, but now I am constantly impressed with the eco-friendly options out there. However, I do think women have more green fashion options. Have you seen any notable men’s green fashions lately? I’d be interested!

It is great. Another great thing about Beyond Skin is that they handmake their shoes. As you can imagine, the quality level is just something you can not get by mass producing shoes in China or anywhere for that matter. The owners of the shoe company actually run the factory. So rare to see.

I look forward to hearing that they’re using 100% recycled materials to make the polyurethane for their faux leathers. Then I’ll feel like they’ve totally won this environmentalist’s heart over completely. In the meantime I still think Beyond Skin is one of the greatest examples of ethically-made shoes out there today.

Sounds like these shoes meet all the criteria: eco-animal-and people-friendly. I’m glad to see that they’re manufactured ethically. Just as you commented that so often vegan footwear isn’t environmentally conscious, I often see eco-friendly clothes/footwear that are made under dubious labor conditions in China. How great that Beyond Skin hit the mark on all three standards! Maybe they’re worth the price tag after all!
